Fx Bootcamp Review 2007
5 Stars 2007-11-13 I have just come
to the end of a year with bootcamp and am now
in that very small group of traders (5%) who
didn't blow their account and actually managed,
with their help, to make a profit. so was it
worth it for me, you bet ! i started when wayne
was teaching and i accept some of the comments
on here re his presentational style are true,
but it is the SUBSTANCE that is important. does
wayne trade ? i don´t know, but he is a very
good analyst and i have found his teaching to
be very good.
bootcamp is live and although they don´t give
specific trade signals, once you get to know
the nuances of the tutors, you don´t have to be
a rocket scientist to know what they are
getting at. the other thing is that you have
80+ traders in the room at one time, some of
whom have been there for a while and again
their input is very helpful for the newer
members. lets face it, trading forex can be a
lonely and often boring past-time whilst
waiting/planning for movement. to be surrounded
by good coaches and other like minded
individuals can be very rewarding. if you want
someone to tell you what to do and when, then
this is not for you, but if you truly want to
learn how to become an independent, skilled
forex trader and you have the determination to
succeed then i would not hesitate to recommend
bootcamp. annual membership works out at a
ridiculously small amount per week for 12 hours
live trading per day. for a peek at what they
do, follow their "you tube" videos. for some
that may be enough. i started with fx bootcamp in november 2006 on a months trial subscription, but within a few days upgraded to an annual membership. the site is educational but its greatest asset is that it is in real time; ie they are looking at what one should do if this happens (and why). i notice one of the critics on this site is not happy that wayne mc donald is not trading the new york session now, but he has appointed chris stephens to do the london session. for me that is a giant step forward as often the big moves have happened before new york opens and for me, chris is equally as good. but as an added bonus has now given for free an extra 12 hours a day of live, real time coaches ! i find it difficult to understand how this can be a step backwards. sure some of the time the guys are having to "fill time" cos lets face it lots of time there is nothing happening in forex, but they should also be praised for keeping you out of trades by doing something silly (we have all been there)? since joining bootcamp i have started to make consistant profits, which was my aim. anyone wishing to try it out can look for free on you tube and or sign up with fx street for a free webinar that wayne mc donald does for non-farm payrolls. do i recommend fx bootcamp ? absolutely. will i re-new my membership in november? sure. in some ways i have outgrown some of their strategies and use my own, but i get at least one good trade a week (and usually more) that my strategy doesn´t pick up. and most importantly i make a profit on my subscription ! for me thats all i can ask of a service. |
